Winter weekend getaway

If you are planning to go on a winter weekend getaway in your own car, then you must be sure of the condition of your car. Check at least these thing before you go:

• Coolant condition. If you are going up the mountains or in another cold area, make sure that your coolant wont freeze. It can damage both your car and definetely ruin your winter weekend.
• Tyre condition. Bring chains if you are using summer tyres.
• Battery condition. When in cold, your battery will run out of power much faster than normal.

Typical winter destinations for a winter weekend getaway

• Skiing of course. Very active and lots of time together in lifts.
• Visit a hot spring. Great experience to take a bath when it normally would be ice on any water. Remember to bring a hat to avoid catching a cold!
• Indoor weekend in front of open fire. Very classic romantic getaway!
